If you love Harry Potter as much as I do, then going to the Harry Potter Studio’s Tour in London is a must. I was so excited to go here since I grew up with Harry Potter and because Harry Potter got me hooked on reading.
When you first pull up to the studios, you see the chess from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone or Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. They are huge! Each ticket to the tour comes with a different character or place from Harry Potter. You are given an audio guide which you can use when inside the sets.
You first walk into a room where you watch a video that essentially gets you excited to start the tour.
The first thing you see while in the tour is the Great Hall. There are the original costumes for the different professors and the different House uniforms.
The next room has a collection of different props from the movies, such as the wall of proclamations from Professor Umbridge, Hagrid’s Hut, an opportunity to fly on a broom and much more!
The Forbidden Forest was one of the coolest parts of the whole exhibit, in my opinion. There is also butterbeer and the Night Bus, Diagon Alley and a replica of Hogwarts.
I really don’t want to give too much away, so make sure to check it out!
If you are a Potterhead, you must go to this!
I thought it would be appropriate to make the Harry Potter Studio Tour the last post for my blog since it is the last place I went while in England. I am not sure what exactly I will do with this blog, and any and all suggestions are welcome in the comments.
Thanks so much for reading!
